Mackenzie is awesome! She IS Winnipeg's coolest kid for many reasons. Mackenzie is kind and considerate. This year she spearheaded a birthday party for her teacher. When her teacher asked why she was throwing her a birthday party, Mackenzie's answer was "you make our birthdays special, why shouldn't we do it for you?" This was the first time in a 20+ year career a class had thrown her a party. Mackenzie is creative, kind, respectful and funny. Mackenzie is the first to help a friend or student and shares compliments with all. Her comedic sense leaves people in a better mood that when the interaction began. She is a great role model for her peers, and all who come in contact with her. I am proud to be Mackenzie’s Mom – she is Winnipeg's coolest kid!
